SPCX enters earnings and unlock window as whale positions grow by $75.7 million in half a day

SPCX drew fresh leveraged interest on Aug. 4 as large traders added roughly $75.7 million in combined positions within half a day, according to TradingBeats, formerly Hyperinsight. The tracking data showed that the seven previously disclosed SPCX million-dollar long holders had not reduced their positions by the morning update, and together still held about 238,800 long contracts. As the token price rose, the value of those positions climbed to about $27.7 million. The largest long, address 0xb37, continued to hold 147,500 SPCX contracts valued at about $17.11 million. Its average entry price was $114.96, unrealized profit stood near $150,000, and liquidation was marked at $105.45. TradingBeats said the address neither moved the position nor added margin, keeping its earlier view tied to support after the $105 liquidation line. SPCX was last quoted at $116, up about 1.2% from $114.68 earlier in the day, after reaching an intraday high of $117.47. By the afternoon, million-dollar long exposure had increased from $44.115 million to $82.633 million, while million-dollar short exposure rose from $47.098 million to $84.257 million. Open interest across the market also grew about 6.5% to roughly $229 million. Still, in the most recent hour, six longs exited and 34 new shorts appeared, pointing to a shift in marginal flows toward short bets or downside hedging as the rebound approached the earnings release.
